Anna Lee is an Acupuncturist with over 20 years of experience and a graduate of Southwest Acupuncture College in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Anna Lee is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncturists and Licensed by the Georgia Composite Medical Board. Her skill and perspective is unique because of her experience as a massage therapist for 15 years prior to studying Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has successfully worked with people who use their bodies as an instrument, including athletes, artists, and performers. The focus is working with them toward peak performance, injury prevention, and balance. Anna Lee’s scope of practice also includes complementary health care for general preventative health issues especially involving digestion, hormonal balance, respiratory problems including allergies and asthma, stress and pain management and reduction, and cancer patients in conjunction with Western medical cancer therapies. She has taken continuing education classes in sports acupuncture, digestive disorders, enhancing immunity, Cranio-Sacral Body work, and ear acupuncture.
Born and raised in a small town in Montana close to Glacier National Park, Anna Lee learned a great deal about the woods, the animals in them, and the entanglements of living in a small, close-knit town where people often seemed to know more about you than you know yourself. She had the gift of freedom to think, wander, and explore without fear. From there Anna Lee was launched into the world of a culture involved in profound change. Through it all she has traveled extensively throughout the US and Canada. Anna Lee's studies include:
- Theater and Performing Arts at Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington
- BA Degree in Speech Communication and Psychology at S U N Y at Buffalo, New York
- Traditional Chinese Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico
- Teaching certification as a Special Education Generalist at Western State College in Gunnison, CO.
