What is Cafe of Life?
Café of Life Grant Park Vision Statement:
Grant Park Chiropractor, April Warhola creates an Evolutionary Chiropractic and Vitalistic Life Center that shifts the way society views and participates in their health and healing.
What is Cafe of Life?
The Café of Life in Grant Park is a place that thinks radically different about health. It is about people, life and living. Your health, life and human potential are honored and focused upon at all times.
A Café is a place that will help shift your awareness toward a more vitalistic and holistic way of living. The Café of Life will empower you to take responsibility for your own health. We realize that more and more people are interested in understanding how to take care of themselves and their families, and get more out of life. At the Café we serve these needs with ongoing education and information; our intention is to lead people to their highest possibility.
With chiropractic being the center of the Café, people receive hope and inspiration instead of prognosis and prescription. We use our heads, hearts and hands to release the essence of life (human electricity, chi, prana, life force, light, mental impulse). This is made possible through a precise chiropractic adjustment.
Everyone is invited to sample and enjoy the experiences served at the Café of Life, and you get to choose. We offer chiropractic for you and your family, and also offer equine, canine and feline chiropractic care. The healing center has ongoing nutritional support, birthing resources, Thai bodywork, massage, Acupuncture and mental health support. People who come to the Café may be seeking a greater life expression, a more active life or better health. Whether you feel good, are in pain, ill or affected by a disease, you are welcome. We serve all ages and walks of life from newborns to great- grandparents.
At the Café you will experience a different way of thinking about life, healing and wellness. This is a place where care is provided through an understanding and respect of the power that creates life, understanding that each person is unique and should be cared for in that way. Dr. April invites you to, "Come Thrive With Me!"
Dr. April Warhola
Dr. April grew up in a small town south of Atlanta - Sharpsburg, Georgia and enjoyed a memorable childhood with her mom, dad and two sisters. It is no mere chance that she decided to serve others through the healing power of chiropractic. Her grandfather was a pioneer in the profession and two uncles are in practice today.
Years ago, while doing chiropractic mission work in the Dominican Republic and Brazil, she had the opportunity to share chiropractic adjustments with thousands of people, many of whom were children. It was here that April realized her own inspiration was to create a healing center where people could experience their path to a greater life beginning at birth. Today she is fulfilling her life's purpose as a chiropractor serving families at the Café of Life in Grant Park, and there is no question that a special place resides in her heart for adjusting the children.
Today Dr. April is known to be an intuitive healer, which shows up in her chiropractic care. As well as adjusting people, she enjoys connecting with animals and earned a further certification in 2015 to adjust large and small animals. Her center in Grant Park brings together many types of practices, all with the idea of integrating wholistic, life-giving services under one roof, and she is grateful to be a part of the Serenbe Community as well. When April is not playing at her office, you can often find her exploring with her dogs, Zara, Augustus and Miss Violet, practicing yoga, gardening or traveling the world.
Dr. April received a bachelor's degree in biology in 2003 from LaGrange College and moved to Spartanburg, SC to begin her chiropractic studies at Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic. One year into the program, she moved to Marietta, GA and completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2007 at Life University. She is pediatric and Webster Certified, as well as a Certified Animal Chiropractor through the IVCA.
Dr. April is a member of Café of Life International and International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She serves as a LifeForce 1000 Doctor and a P.E.A.K Extension Faculty Member at Life University.
Dr. Nicole Juntz
Dr. Nicole Juntz was introduced to chiropractic at the age of 16, when she drove her younger sister to the chiropractor for help with her migraine headaches. One afternoon, the chiropractor noticed that she was doubled over in pain due to menstrual cramps. It was suggested that she get her spine and nervous system checked. Although she thought the suggestion seemed crazy and unrelated, Nicole's mother scheduled her for an assessment. To Nicole's delight, she was relieved of the pains immediately, and she was later fortunate enough to work at the chiropractor's office. While working, she continued to see amazing changes, not only in her own health, but in so many other people's health, and this is when she knew that she wanted to serve others in the same way.
Initially, Dr. Juntz opened a successful practice in her home town of Charleston, South Carolina. After seven years, she sold the practice and moved to Georgia. With two kids herself, you can believe that caring for children has been a passion of hers since her career began. She loves serving athletes and children, as they have remarkable and rapid responses to care.
Dr. Juntz immediately began her studies at Life University in Marietta, GA, receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2007. Since then, Dr. Juntz has completed her certification as a Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner and is a Certified Webster Practitioner. Once she has completed the necessary research in 2017, she will also be a Certified Pediatric Chiropractor, and will finish a Masters in Exercise Science and Human Performance in 2017. She completes over 100 hours of continuing education each year.

Laura Warhola - Thai Bodywork
Laura's family has quite a history of healing practitioners, from great grandparents, to uncles, her father, brothers, and now a daughter! So it's just a natural consequence that she has gone full circle in her own life pursuits. Her early career was that of a chiropractic assistant in her father's practice. Her professional background includes early childhood education and various modes of exercise instruction. She currently manages the Café of Life Chiropractic Center with her daughter.
A desire to practice massage therapy has always been prevalent in Laura's heart, and her first Thai Bodywork session sparked an even greater possibility. Thai Bodywork offers diversification from a massage with many similar results. It provides exceptional ease for both the client and the practitioner, while utilizing familiar yoga stretches and just enough compression to release muscle contracture.
Laura desires to share this phenomenal experience with everyone. There is no one who could not benefit from Thai Bodywork!
Stephanie wrote backwards until she was in fourth grade. She was told that she needed to practice skipping because her coordination was off. She was also smart and tall and skipped a couple of grades and was a great athlete… "I was always a mix of wrong and brilliant and I was always confused about why I couldn't fit in (laughing) on the rare occasion that I tried." She focused her attention on books and studied art and anthropology, relationships and spirituality and healing. "When I look back at everything that I've studied and pursued, it has always been about beauty and connection and the desire to create more beauty and joy in the world. There were moments that I felt helpless about creating the future that I thought was possible… With the work that I'm doing now, though, I'm seeing so many people become more peaceful and more joyful that I have a newfound hope." Stephanie facilitates Access Consciousness classes and offers individual sessions. "It's amazing. People really can change just about anything they'd like to change."
My target is to give clients dynamic tools that allow them to have choice with ease. In my own life, the darkest times were those in which I felt I had no choice, and not enough courage or oomph to make the choices I did have. I know now that there is always another choice and that I am always supported.
